Due to the crazy time difference, we were waking up before 6am every morning. We would usually watch the visitor channel while waking up and getting dressed. It felt really nice to naturally wake up and see the sun rise. We strolled down to the restaurant for breakfast. Alexis had a perfect looking omelette, and I devoured some corn flake crusted french toast with fresh fruits, whipped butter, and maple syrup. Mmmm! It was a little expensive, but worth every penny.
After breakfast we moseyed on down to the beach and claimed some chairs under a tree. We pretty much just relaxed for the rest of the day. While the resort did not have the prettiest water or sand, the view was very exotic. It's not every day you get to see mountainous terrain like this right next to the beach. This was nothing compared to what we would see later that week.
