Foothills Parkway

Alexis, Annabelle, and I went for a great drive the other day along the Foothills Parkway. Below are a couple of shots we were able to grab. At one point we were exploring and came across a neighborhood with houses on the side of what looked like almost a sheer cliff. The view from those houses must have been amazing. There wasn't really a place to pull over to stop and get a shot. So no photos of that :(

Baskins Creek Falls

My dad and I hiked down Baskins Creek Trail to check out this nice waterfall. We were able to get there before anyone else which was nice, but the trail was covered in spider webs.

The face of the cliff to the left of the waterfall is pretty interesting. It looks like someone cut lots of small cubes out of it.

New Netflix Feature

I was watching Lethal Weapon the other night.  During the first suicidal scene with Martin Riggs, I had paused it to go do something. Then my fiance came home and saw Mel Gibson with a gun in his mouth. She was disturbed by this, and I was done watching it for the night anyway. So I just stopped it and turned it off.

Now every time we go to Netflix instant watch on the site, it shows this.

Fiery Wreckage

A semi crashed into the middle divider of I-40 on my way home from work today. It exploded and caught on fire. As everyone was slowly driving around the debris I was able to snatch this footage of the aftermath. Sorry for the curse word in the middle. It was really a WTF moment.

Baby Coon Snatcher

I spotted these raccoons off the deck at my parents house.  It looked like the bigger one (the mother?) was trying to clean the other one's head.

These are two of my favorite beach panoramas. I think the Pano app on my phone degraded the quality, but they look pretty good at lower resolutions. I'm hoping to get even better ones this spring with my new camera.
